"Compatible Video Editing Software For PVR File Format

Hi

I recently bought a PVR and have downloaded a copy of Sony Vegas Pro on a demo for 30 days

which has been handling the files nicely, but due to its full blown price is there anything else out

there that definately handles the PVR's file format? I must add the files are those that are

captured from the composite link up to my PS3.

I've read some reviews on Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD 10 Platinum Suite which seem pretty

sound but wanted more clarification on whether it can handle these type of files. Any help much
