Earth’s rotation is the daily change from day to night. From the north pole,

earth rotates clockwise. The sun appears to rise in the East and set in the West.

SeasonsThe hemisphere tilted towards the sun receives more sunlight and has warmer and longer days. The hemisphere tilted

away from the sun receives indirect sunlight and it has cooler and shorter

days.
