Earth-Quake The vibration of the ground due to the sudden release of

energy accumulated in a deformed rock. After shock :An earthquake of less intensity that follows

the main earthquake.

Causes Of An EarthquakeVolcanic causeThey are caused by sudden displacements of lava within or beneath the earth crust.

Terms related to Volcanic Cause Focus Spot underground where the rock begins to break. Epicenter The point on the land surface directly above the focus. Fault Line A line on a rock surface or the ground that traces a geoloical fault.

Tectonic Cause

There are about 20 Plates along the surface of earth as the plates move thy put a forces on themselves and each other . When force is large enough the crust is forced to break . When the break occurs the stress is released as energy which moves through the earth in the form of waves which we feel and call Earth Quake.

EARTHQUAKES' MESSAGE AND HEAVY BURDENS

When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake And the earth discharges its burdens And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" That Day, it will report its news Because your Lord has commanded it. That Day, the people will depart separated [into

categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see

it, And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see

it.

ہے والا رحم نہایت مہربان بڑا جو سے نام کے الله �ِ شروع ﴿ گی جائے دی ہلا سے بھونچال زمین ۱جب ﴾ ) ( ﴿ گی ڈالے نکال بوجھ کے اندر اپنے زمین ۲اور ﴾

﴿ ہے؟ ہوا کیا کو اس کہ گا کہے انسان ۳اور ﴾ ﴿ گی کردے بیان حالات اپنے وہ روز ۴اس ﴾ ) ( ﴿ ہوگا بھیجا حکم کو اس نے پروردگار تمہارے ۵کیونکہ ﴾ ﴿ جائیں دیئے دکھا اعمال کے ان کو ان تاکہ گے آائیں کر ہو گروہ گروہ لوگ دن ۶اس ﴾

﴿ گا لے دیکھ کو اس وہ گی ہو کی نیکی بھر ذرہ نے جس ۷تو ﴾ ﴿ گا لے دیکھ اسے وہ ہوگی کی برائی بھر ذرہ نے جس ۸اور ﴾

الزلزلة سورة (Translation)

Holy Quran

Hazart Anas says:“I went into the presence of Hazart Aishah (RA) ,I listen , The person asked, ‘O Mother of the believers, relate to us regarding earthquakes (as to their cause) She said,  if I were to inform you thereof, you will live a sorrowful life : She says,When the people then begin to commit adultery, consume alcohol and use musical instruments, Allah becomes enraged in the heavens and orders the Earth to shake them. If they repent and refrain, then it is good for them.

Hadith

Whenever there was an earthquake, some of the salaf (pious Muslims) would say: Your Lord is warning you!

When Madinah was struck by an earthquake, Umar ibn Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with you) addressed the people, saying: If there is another earthquake, I will not stay here with you.”
