About Networks West Sussex County Council offers a variety of free network events throughout the year. These events are available to any setting; nurseries, preschools, schools and childminders, working within West Sussex in the early years. Networks are run as online, interactive webinars and hosted by your local Early Years and Childcare Advisor (EYCA) termly, unless otherwise stated. In the webinar, you will be part of a group with direct access to your EYCA who will lead the session. You must have access to a computer or tablet, the internet, a web camera with microphone. It is advisable to have downloaded the (free) Microsoft Teams app before the session. Mobile phones unsuitable due to the small screen. To book, search for the course code on the Learning and Development Gateway. The joining link will be in the course place confirmation email sent by the Learning and Development Gateway. If you cannot find it, please check your junk mail folder, then email us on [email protected]. If you do not have a Learning and Development Gateway account, click here to complete the short form. The Gateway will process your request and email you an account username and password. You can then book. This takes 24 to 48 hours to process.

Business and Welfare Event Business and Welfare Events are run on an ad hoc basis, depending on the need and demand in each area. Events will focus on good practice in running a business and implementing the EYFS Statutory Framework.
