Four duotone examples of design for a record sleeve. Image sourced from SXC royalty free stock imagery.The image displays a fungus, growing on the root of a tree. Plays on the record labels “Roots & Culture”values; to be true to your roots.
Out of the four examples, number1 is most effective because there is dark colour and is more visuallyappealing than number3, which is more dominantly monotone.
It is worth mentioning at this stage that I am using a type consistancy throughout, being my adaptedversion of Facet std, and Orator std - slanted.-
