The therapist sits at the head of the table and carefully conducts and monitors the burning of the candle while gently massaging acupoints surrounding the ear and side of the face. Once completed, you turn onto the opposite side and repeat the treatment for the other ear. Each candle takes approximately half and hour to burn. At the completion of a a session, special lavendar essential oils are gently applied to the outer ear to help clean and lubricate the ear canal. How many treatments do I need? A treatment plan is set up dependant on factors including: The duration, extent and nature of your condition. How well your ears respond to the treatment. What can I do to benefit my treatment? Arrive at your appointment a few minutes early; this will ensure you are nice & calm prior to having your treatment. Please turn off your mobile phone during your treatment. If you are prescribed essential oils to use daily to benefit the ears, ensure that you follow the suggested techniques. This will maximise your recovery & reduce the number of treatments required.
