Eagle County Schools Early Childhood Education Program

Curiosity, the engine of learning, is a miracle that starts at birth. Our Early ChildhoodPrograms helps it grow and develop from ages 3 to 5 so children are excited and ready for Kindergarten. Early childhood

education helps children learn how to plan, persevere, solve problems, and work collaboratively – key skills for success in

school and life. Our programs operate out of eight locations in the county, serving all families, including those qualifying for

Head Start and Special Education. If you have a child between ages 3 and 5, please contact or visit the location nearest you to

learn about the many benefits of Early Childhood Education.

Some of our centers may be full and have a waiting list. It’s still important for you to join the waiting list, as it helps us assess need and make decisions about thelocation of future centers and expansion of current centers.
