summer at ELHS on Thurs. June 12th
, Fri. June 13th

, Fri. June 20th
. This is
MANDATORY. The summer practice schedule can also be found on the ELHS Cheer website.
Work and other school-related activities you decide to participate in after making the Squad should not interfere
with practices or games. Eagle’s Landing Cheerleading must take precedence over any extracurricular
activities or work. It is your responsibility to dedicate the necessary time to the Squad. Failure to do so could
result in your removal of position on the squad.

same night, the parents of the cheerleaders will be required to attend a meeting at 6:00PM at ELHS. The
second payment must be made at this time. At the meeting, the cheerleading behavioral contract will be
discussed. Parents and cheerleaders will be asked to sign a statement indicating that they have read and agree
to abide by the rules. Information for the first fundraiser of the new season will also be provided.
IMPORTANT!! IMPORTANT!! IMPORTANT!! IMPORTANT!!
In order to make the cost of cheerleading for parents manageable, will we need to do aggressive squad fundraising
throughout the entire year to be able to cover the cost of competition routines and music, transportation, and competition
fees. Cheerleaders and parents need to be aware of the enormous commitment it will take on all of our parts to make this
a successful year for each and every cheerleader. Please feel free to share your money-making ideas. All Cheerleaders
are expected to attend and will be assigned a position at all fundraisers.

Athlete Agreement
I, __________________________(student), have read all of the information regarding ELHS cheerleading. I
understand that being a part of a cheerleading squad is a commitment. If chosen for a squad I agree to be on
time and attend all practices, and attend all required athletic events, fundraisers and/or competitions. If there is
any reason that I will be late or that I am unable to attend any cheerleading event then I must contact my coach
directly in advance or I will be unable to participate in that event and/or future events. If there is a medical
emergency, then I will provide written notification for my absence and/or injury from a doctor.
I will always be prepared for practices and athletic events by removing all jewelry, pulling my hair
completely back and out of my face, ensuring no nail polish or false nails, wearing appropriate clothing
(including shoes) and bringing any additional equipment needed (poms. etc.).
As I am a representative of Eagle’s Landing High School, I will always show good sportsmanship and
respect towards my coach, my teammates, judges, coaches of other teams, members of opposing teams, and
most importantly myself. I will refrain from smoking, using alcohol or drugs, using profanity, public displays
of affection, fighting, and any other actions that are deemed inappropriate by the coaches/faculty/administration.
I understand that if I display any of the behaviors listed above then I will receive consequences and/or lose my
place on the squad.
I understand that my role on the squad is one of leadership, both on and off the mat/track/court, and both
in and out of the classroom. By signing this pledge, I agree to proudly represent Eagle’s Landing.

ELHS Cheerleading Cost Agreement
*This form must be notarized*
The cost of cheerleading will be handled through a 5-step payment plan. If your child is selected to be a part of
the 2014-2015 squads, you will be responsible for all payments being made in full and on time. The final
payment will be determined from the balance owed based on the equipment ordered for your child. Your child
will be given a monthly statement with payments made and monies owed. If payments are not made on time
then a cheerleader’s equipment will not be ordered thus preventing them from participating in practices
and/or games/competitions until full payment is received and equipment is ordered. Remember, we have
scheduled fundraisers to help with program cost and ultimately keep your fees as low as possible.
