Revised: 11 May 2017
1. Turn on the computer and enter password to go to the desktop.
2. Double click on the Mark Your Calendar icon: to open it.
3. Jpeg or pdf files are received periodically from the Activities Director,
announcing upcoming events. They must be converted to jpeg before they can
be added to the existing presentation. This is done by creating a blank slide and
pasting the jpeg onto the slide.

Add the jpeg file from wherever the picture file was stored on the laptop
computer or thumb drive. In this sample the new schedule was saved as a picture
(jpeg) file and “inserted” using the insert/picture command.
Once the new slide is added it should automatically pick up the same timing and
animation characteristics as the other slides within the presentation.
