Company background

Interactive Visual Radio improves Consumer usage and Radio revenues

• Established in Nantes in 2008, we developped a set of key SW technologies for Digital radio under Diabolo brand name

• Granted major French Awards: JTI 09 (SFR), Cap’tronics 2009, Embedded Trophy 09, Start West 2010

• Working with the key French radio players (RTL, NRJ, Radio France group) gives us a significant advantage in terms of market position. We are also working at expanding to the German and Malaysian market

• In partnership with these key players we are tuning our technology assets to develop Interactive Visual Radio

• We are part of an European project and are funded by OSEO (300k€). We are looking for additional fundings to support the first roll-out of our solutions in 2011


Radio market size : 42 Million Listeners, 3 hours a day, 150 Million receivers

Why Visual ? Consumer can listen and look simultaneously at images provided by the digital stream. This includes as well control features such as Play/pause/resume. The Consumer can browse on a light content to get additional information ( weather forecast, traffic jam ...)

Why Interactive ? The broadband connection allows users to communicate easily with radio channels. This allows Online purchase, survey, betting and many other applications ...
