Work Experience

Course Work + Projects

SKETCH-UP-PODIUM I was required to take a previously done perspective and render it through Sketch-Up. I chose to enhance the main floor of my foursquare renovation. The main goal of this project was to express our knowledge of lighting, rendering and Sketch-Up. I came up with many different lighting schemes that included artificial lighting and natural lighting. These two rendered perspectives portray different times of day.

VDL Residence and studio inspiredI researched the VDL residence and studio by Rich-ard Neutra. I was required to diagram patterns and design elements found in the VDL floor plan. I created new diagrams by copying, scaling, and rotating the old ones. From these new diagrams I designed three new floor plans. I kept the same number of rooms and square footage as the VDL residence and created completely different floor plans and perspectives.

In junior residential studio I redesigned an existing interior space. We were given the client profile and had to design according to client needs. Space planning, adjacencies, and design aesthetics were carefully researched and considered during the design process. I created a total of three perspectives and three floor plans. The third perspective is of the living room and was used for the Sketch-up Podium project that I have presented earlier in the portfolio.
