1 OVERVIEW

This guide will help you enroll your Android device within the MetLife MobileIron system.

This guide was optimized for a Samsung device. There are many different Android devices as well as different version of the Android Operating system. Capturing all possible variances in enrollment with these many devices would be impossible. Read through the instructions before beginning your enrollment. If there are differences between what you see on your phone versus what is contained within this guide, follow the prompts on your phone to the best of your ability. If you have issues with any portion of the enrollment on your Android model, call your local help desk for assistance.

The Help Desk will not be able to assist with Google Account issues, carrier issues, and general device and operating system issues. The Help Desk will only be able to assist with issues with corporate resources such as email, contact, calendars and other corporate data.

Note: While MobileIron provides a warning that installing the app allows the device administrator to erase all data and more, the control is limited to the Divide functionality. Divide will not monitor, track or retain any personal activity or content on the device. Although Google states that installing certificates allows the administrator to collect personal data and more, MetLife will not monitor, track or retain any personal activity or content on the device. For more information, see the Mobility BYO FAQ’s and the Device Settings table on the Mobility website.

2 PREREQUISITES

• A Samsung, HTC, LG, or Motorola device running Android 4.4 or higher. • Your smartphone MUST be connected to a 3G/4G carrier network • You MUST have a Google account (Google ID) • Recommended: For faster set up and download of apps use Wi-Fi or the Guest-Net Wi-Fi within a MetLife building. Locate

the Settings App > select Wi-Fi settings > Connect to Guest-Net. Search MyMetLife for the current Guest-Net password.
