Pastor Stan has served as associate pastor, pastor, Journeyman with the International Mission Board, youth pastor, and campus minister. He joined the State Convention staff in 1984 serving as Director of Language Missions (ethnic church planting, Steward and Brother hood, State Director of Missions, and Associate Executive Director. He retired in 2017.

Pastor Barry has been in ministry for over 30 years, serving as a mission pastor, associate pastor, church planter, pastor, interim pastor, transitional pastor and planter, church planting strategist director, and now executive director of the Baptist Resource Network.

Senior Pastor Search Update The SPSC will present a candidate “in view of a call” the weekend of June 27. At this point we do not know if this visit will be a virtual visit or in person. Either way you will get to meet him (Zoom or in person) and hear him preach (live stream possibly). Keep him and the search committee in your prayers. At this point his name is still confidential and will stay so until his visit.

Summer Camp Scholarships fund Your generous contributions make it possible to offer a 50% scholarship for up to 10 kids for a summer camp experience. Please make a designation on your contribution envelope to the Summer Camp Scholarship Fund. The Stewardship Committee has approved this offering with a goal of $3600. Annie Armstrong Easter Offering (AAEO) through the month of May This special offering is the primary way we support mission efforts in North America. 100% of gifts given are used to support Southern Baptist missionaries serving across the United States and Canada. This offering can also be designated through E-Give.

Needed - Egg Cartons Covenant Community Church and the Grace House Food Pantry are in need of egg cartons (all sizes). This is so important as more families need food pantry help. They will be used to distribute bulk eggs in smaller quantities. Drop them off at the office - just ring the bell and we can come get them at the door. This will be an ongoing request.
