SCHOOL MOTTO
Strive For Excellence
OUR VISION
Montfortian education prepares the
students for life, forming them to be
men and women of competence,
conscience and compassion who would
be committed to the service of their
fellow brothers and sisters.
OUR MISSION
Our students as persons would be
enabled to develop qualities of the
mind, the heart, as well as the
necessary skills and attitudes which
enable them to be integrated persons
who will be concerned and contributing
members of the society and the nation.
Louis Marie Grignion was born on January 31, 1673 in a town
called Montfort, in Western France. Today he is popularly
known as ST.MONTFORT. The Brothers of St. Gabriel
Educational Society link their foundation to St. Louis Marie
de Montfort (1673-1716) in France
In the course of his mission works, St. Louis Marie de
Montfort established charitable schools for needy children. He
entrusted this work to the early followers, from whom the
group grew to be later known as the Brothers of St. Gabriel.

Glory to thee Montfort, the loving preacher
Of Jesus cross and Mary’s RosaryThe love of God and of his Holy Mother

The early thoughts of Montfort were for Mary
And in her love he grew ever more strong
Her virtues well he endeavoured to copy to
her sweet self he desired to belong
How well he loved to call her his dear mother
When in heart he would pour out his heart
How much he cared during life and forever
Her bounteous power to the whole world impart
GLORY TO MONTFORT
SCHOOL ANTHEM

To our patron and guide
Seeking strength and hope
And we shall alwyas turn to Montfort
When in our darkness we grope
Bless us dear Montfort

make us all worthy
True to our soil
Righteous in every thought and deed
Bless all our homes and teachers at school
Keep us all safe from woe
May they be faithful to every rule
Learning to progress and to grow
Bless all our leaders Who rule our nation
Guide them when they have need
May they be faithful to every rule Learning
to progress and to grow.
Showers of Blessing
There shall be showers of blessings
This is the Promise of Love
There shall be seasons refreshing
Send from the saviour above.
Showers of blessing

Value Education
“If you want others to learn some values in life, A better way
is to teach them, but the best way is to live by those values
yourself.”
The School has adopted an integrated approach towards
teaching the various values through myriad activities, class
assemblies and competitions specially designed to inculcate
values listed below.
Gratitude
Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life
is the foundation for all abundance. Being appreciative has
a powerful effect on our bodies. It opens the door to more
relationships, it improves physical as well as psychological
health. It enhances empathy, boosts our self-esteem and
performance. So let us take a moment to reflect on how
fortunate we are when something good happens, whether it
is a small or big thing. We must never forget to express
gratitude towards the frontline workers who have assisted
everyone in difficult times in the fight against the ongoing
coronavirus pandemic.
Punctuality
“Be punctual because one thing you can’t recycle is the
wasted time”
Punctuality is a highly appreciated attribute. Always be on
time, every single time carries a lot more value than you
realize. When you meet your commitments on time, it
demonstrates to people that you are a powerful individual . It
conveys that you are organized and dependable, and you
value everyone’s time, including yours.
Respecting Elders
The Indian culture has always endorsed respect towards
elders. It’s important The younger generation needs to learn
the significance of respecting elders by listening and spending
quality time with them. We must treat our elders with respect,
even if their bodies or minds are beginning to fail . The
elderly are powerful, creating the comforts that younger
people take for granted.
Responsibility towards environment
Respect the planet, make rational use of natural resources
and take steps to prevent pollution from the different
processes involved in our industrial operations. Promote
sustainable use of raw materials and natural resources.
Teaching children to be environmentally conscious is a
powerful and effective force for change, utilizing the 3 R’S
(Reduce, Reuse Recycle ) to ensure that the future of the
planet is in the hands of those who will inherit it.
Healthy Habits
Good health is no accident; it’s a result of consistent healthy
habits. Developing healthy habits now will ensure that you not
only live longer but live well.
Few habits the student should inculcate in their daily routine:
Do regular exercise.
Take meals on time.
Avoid junk food.
Drink plenty of water.
Wash hands.
Inculcate reading habits.
Cover mouth while sneezing or coughing.
Wake up early and go to bed on time.
Teaching children about essential human values we can equip
them with the best digital skills and help them understand the
importance of ethical behavior and cultivate compassion with
a positive view of life and motivate them to become a good
human being.
Education
Education provides us with a strong foundation in life. It brings
a change in a person, makes oneself independent and
self-sufficient. It also provides us with a better future, good
health, and happy life. It should be a priority for us. It helps to
boost our confidence and communication skills. It also helps us
to deal with the difficulties that come in our life as it develops
problem-solving skills in us.
It is well said that a thief can steal your belongings but he can
never steal your education.
Learning new skills, reading books, practicing new
technologies and enhancing knowledge are our strength, it help
us to do our work smartly and effectively which give us much
better results.
Abraham Lincoln said, “ Give me six hours to chop down a
tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe”. Try to
increase the spectrum of your knowledge every day as smart
work beats hard work.
Learning is the key to success. All successful people have one
thing in common that they read a lot of books and learn new
things from other people’s life. You can never cease learning
because no matter what you do, where you have been, the
whole world is changing and if you are going to try and keep
up with change you have got to continually be learning so
there’s never a time when you can sit back and say I know it
all... So, chase your skills and ideas rather than grades or
marks.
Pillars of Modern Education
Taking initiative is doing things without being told.
Conscientiousness is a fundamental personality trait that
reflects the tendency to be responsible, organized,
hard-working, goal-directed and to adhere to norms and
rules.
Innovativeness is described as “The skill and imagination
to create new things”.
Perserverance is continued effort to do or achieve something
despite difficulties, failure, or opposition. There are times in
life where you have to show a tremendous amount of
patience to get the thing that you want. During these times
perseverance might be the best word to keep in mind to help
you move forward.
Problem-solving is the act of defining a problem,
determining the cause of the problem, identifying,
prioritizing and selecting alternatives for a solution and
implementing a solution.
PERSERVERANCE I can try new things no matter how hard they seem.
I will not give up.
I can do my best.
I will keep trying even when I feel like I have failed.
I will believe in myself
I can persevere
“Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow
belongs to those who prepare
for it today”.
Parents are child’s first teachers and they have a key role in shaping
up their character. A balance of education at home and school molds
student’s actual learning. Be a helping hand in their educational
journey and travel with them with its true inspiration.
The following outline provides responsibilities that parents must
adhere to in order to foster their child's physical and emotional
well-being.
Be a role model: Children would be easily inspired by what their
parents do. So it would be good to be a role model in their
learning phase. Show them how exciting and meaningful a
school life can be if they give out their best.
Teach your child morals and values.
● Honesty
● Respect
● Responsibility
● Compassion
● Patience
● Forgiveness
● Generosity
Involve yourself in your child's education.
● Communicate regularly with your child's
teachers.
● Make sure that your child is completing his
or her homework each night.
● Assists your child with his or her homework
but didn't do the homework.
● Talk to your child each day about school
(what is being studied, any interesting
events,... etc.)
● Recognize and acknowledge your child's
academic achievement.
Get to know your child.
● Spend quality time together.
● Be approachable to your child.
● Ask questions.
● Communicate. Communicate.
Communicate.
Prepare them for tests.
When it is their exam time, don't leave them alone with
their lessons. Help them to prepare for the test with good
guidance and support.
Reward them for result and be a good friend
