Fertility Today’s First GYN Conference will be held November 2-6, 2007, on thebeautiful Grand Bahama Island at the Westin Our Lucaya Resort. The conferencewill serve to enhance your knowledge of reproductive health from contraceptivesto menopause including premature ovarian failure. This conference will focus onupdates in gynecology including sexual dysfunction, fertility preservation, and ex-ploring the cardiovascular and cancer effects on reproductive health. A nationallyrecognized faculty will address the needs of the gynecologist, fellows, and residents. A comprehensive syllabus developed by the course faculty will also be provided.

Educational ObjectivesUpon the conclusion of this conference, the participant will be able to:• Apply appropriate strategies for the assessment and treatment

of sexual dysfunction

• Enhance their armamentarium of the therapeutic and alternative measures formenopause, including the use and role of statin drugs in cardiovascular healthof women and androgen replacement therapy

• Demonstrate and enhance knowledge on the psychological impact ofmenopause including decreased mental acuity and sexual dysfunctions

• Demonstrate knowledge of contraceptive choices for the perimenopause patients and patients with complicated medical histories

• Expand understanding of the diagnostic criteria and treatment options ofpolycystic ovarian syndrome including cardiovascular and other non-gynecologic sequelae

• Gain familiarity with infertility etiologies and treatment options including indications of third party reproduction, ovulation induction, in vitro fertilization, preimplantation genetics, fertility preservation, and egg freezing

• Demonstrate and enhance knowledge of the genetics of premature ovarianfailure and the genetics of endometriosis and apply appropriate diagnostic andtherapeutic strategies for their assessment and treatment

• Re-familiarize one’s self of the surgical pearls of the operating room

• Understand and enhance knowledge of how breast cancer impacts reproductive health

• To gain insights and improve skills that will aid in the analysis, detection, and avoidance of medical-legal pitfalls of gynecology
