In most cases, they’re usually brown or reddy black. Their nose is pointed and so short. Their fur is as soft as a cushion and it’s so thick. A Dwarf mongoose on the look out.
APPEARANCE
When they eat, they have snakes, insects, birds, lizards, eggs and rodents.
DIET
They live in Africa along the coast in grasslands and woodlands. They live in groups of 2-20 individuals for safety. The main place they live is in burrows and often have many dens within a small area for added safety from predators.
HABITAT

The Dwarf Mongoose is the smallest African mongoose. In their family structure, only the dominant female can have babies. The pups are allowed to go out of the burrows when they are 6 months old. Their predators are jackals, hyenas and snakes and unlike some other mongoose species, the Dwarf mongoose runs and hides from danger rather than banding together to fight.
