INSTALLATION

1 - Insert a Memory Card Select the appropriate Memory Card • Pro Endurance MLC MicroSD card is recommended for continuous use and has a longer cycle life.

• High Quality Class 10 TLC MicroSD card is recommended for intermittent use only and has lower cycle life. The Memory Card is a consumable product. Because the SD Card will be used for a long time, please check it regularly. It needs to be replaced if it has reached the end of its cycle life.

Please ensure that Memory Card is installed correctly. Please insert the memory card before starting the device. Make sure the memory card is installed correctly and formatted in the unit. Do not remove the Memory Card while saving or extracting data. Otherwise recorded information will be damaged or lead to a malfunction.

2 - Position Device Please slide the 3M tape shaft bracket onto the device.

3 - Install the Power Cord Place the power cord along the roof lining edge and A-pillar in a way that it can be hidden and not dislodge easily.

USE1 - Connect the Device to Mobile Phone Settings--- WiFi--- Select “M-XXXXX“--- Enter password “12345678“--- Connect--- Open CarCam APP--- Success.

The default WiFi password is 12345678

Scan barcode above with suitable smartphone APP or simply search for “MK Smart Carcam” on Android or IOS device.

4 - Connect the Device Please connect the unit to the USB Cig Power Adaptor with the 4m Power/GPS Cable. The unit will start to record when accessories is ON and will turn OFF when accessories is OFF. (Use the 2.1A port)

2 - Video Download and Recording IOS Video Replay: When the device connects to the App, please enter into “Real-Time“ page and choose “CarCam video“ to play. When you enter into “CarCam video“, the device will stop recording. Video Download: Please click “choose“ button via “CarCam video“ and choose videos which you want to download. Alternatively, you can click “Download“ while playing the video. NOTE: Video replay is not possible while recording. Android Video Replay: When the device connects to the APP, select the icon. When you enter this page, the device will stop recording. Video Download: Please click “Select“ and choose the videos which you want to download. Then press the button. NOTE: Video replay is not possible while recording.

3 - Angle Adjustment When the device is working normally, you can view the real-time picture via the APP. The Device’s angle can be adjusted manually for better picture and video alignment.

4 - Take Photo Gesture to take pictures: Swipe your hands under the gesture area of the device to take pictures when the device is powered on. (This can be disabled).

App Camera: When the mobile phone connects to the device successfully, you can screenshot while recording video. Additionally, you can also take a screenshot during video replay and share your pictures or video footage to social media.

5 - Parking Monitor The parking monitor setting button is on the opening page of the APP. When you open it, the dash cam will begin to detect the car’s movement. If the car is stationary for more than 5 minutes and the APP is not connected to the device, the Dash Cam will start Parking Monitor Mode*.

When the following 3 situations occur, the Dash Cam will start normal recording: 1) Mobile Phone is connected to the APP 2) Trigger Gesture capture 3) Continuous Vibration for more than 2 minutes. * NOTE: Constant Power to the unit is required for this function

6 - Rear Camera (Optional) You can install the optional rear Dash Cam on the rear window of your vehicle. It is best to have it installed by a professional installer.

7 - Reset Press the reset button for a few seconds to reset the device.
