What We Are:
What We Believe:
DUKE SUMMER START-UP is an intensive 10-week summer internship program designed to meaningfully connect proactive, talented, and entrepreneurial-minded Duke students with Durham start-ups
OUR MISSION is to provide two things: (1) a meaningful internship experience for students interested in entrepreneurship and (2) the placement of talented Duke Interns with Durham start-ups who lack the resources to effectively recruit student interns

ImpactShort Term (Summer 2012)
A 10-week internship pairing 6 students with 3-4 Durham start-ups
The Summer Start-Up Speaker Series – featuring talks and workshops led by prominent members of the Triangle’s entrepreneurial community
Establishing a close-knit community of early-stage Duke entrepreneurs through group housing and shared experiences
Long-Term (Summer 2017)
we aim to be a highly-selective internship placing 15-20 students with Durham start-ups focusing on a wide variety of fields
Create sustained relations between interns and start-ups that extend engagement beyond the summer
