Each corner is a downward firing port, created internally, with special octagonal internal bracing and tuning methods used exclusively in Duevel speakers. Venus

The Venus, Goddess of Love and Beauty, is the entry-level omni-directional loudspeaker in the Duevel product line up. This is a direct-reflectional omni design. Its hexagonal cabinet structure eliminates internal standing waves, resulting in pure and powerful bass notes, beautiful mid range frequencies with soaring highs, devoid of harshness or grain. As with all Duevel loudspeakers, the Venus is a 2-way design keeping crossover networks as simple as possible. It is a rear ported speaker and extremely easy to place in any listening space.

Gebaut haben wir diesen kleinen Lautsprecher um wirklich allen die Möglichkeit zu geben, Musik zu hören und sich nicht von schlecht klingenden Lautsprecherquäken die Musik verübeln zu lassen.Um Ihnen unsere omnidirektionalen Lautsprecher näher zu bringen, machen wir dieses einmalige Angebot zu einem unschlagbaren Preis.Dabei klingt der Lautsprecher schon sehr erwachsen: Insgesamt ein warmer und durchgezeichneter Sound, sehr hochauflösend und mit einem erstaunlichen Bassfundament, welches auch noch bei relativ hohen Pegeln sauber und trocken ist. Die Hochtöner geben feinste Musikschattierungen wieder; das so häufig beobachtete Schreien und Schröcheln etlicher Billigboxen fehlt hier völlig.

Tieftöner und Hochtöner werden über eine Lautsprecherweiche angesteuert, die nach gleicher Schaltungstopologie aufgebaut ist wie bei unseren großen Modellen. Diese Schaltungstechnik ist einzigartig und ein Grund für die außergewöhnlich natürliche Musikwiedergabe unserer Lautsprecher.

Die Ansprüche:Wie bei jedem anderen Standlautsprecher ist

auch hier eine möglichst freie Aufstellung von Vorteil. Insgesamt verhält sich dieser Lautsprecher aber äußerst aufstellungsunkritisch. Wir haben die Planets ganz bewußt für Mid-Budget Komponenten entwickelt, wobei sie selbstredend mit hochwertigen High End Verstärker besser klingen als mit bezahlbaren Stereoverstärkern.

If one were to build the ultimate playback system, the methods of amplification should not be identifiable. As we reach for the pinnacle in solid state or tube design, each approach targets the same logical end; the true to life experience of live, accurate, musical reproduction in your home. The Shuttle will take you there.

The concept behind the creation is simplicity in construction and purity of sound. Internal circuitry is short and directly to the point. There is no remote control here, no fancy light parade for the eyes. Only the sound of open, detailed and pure music… All electronics, including RCA phono sockets, inputselector and volume control are placed on a single "double sided" circuit board. The result of which is our ability to use fewer parts and hook-up wire in the signal path.

The state of the art MM / MC phono stage is placed on a separate circuit board.Digital inputs include a specially designed with optional 800-Ohm load to best accommodate the typical output impedance characteristics of digital sources marketed today. Our result is an integrated amplifier with the extraordinary ability to offer the listener a simple and dramatic component, damped on a wood and rubber base, which we challenge you to identify as tube or solid state.
