In 1865 two brothers from Nashville, Tennessee changed how we look at men’s clothes today. George and Joseph O’Bryan believed hard working people deserved well-

crafted, stylish clothes made from strong materials. From a surplus of civil war tent material known as

“Duck” they began making trousers we now call khakis. Since then the Duck Head brand has become a lasting

symbol of true authenticity, Southern sensibility and the American way of life.

This year we celebrate 150 years since the first pair of khakis was introduced. Much has changed since then,

but unwavering is our commitment to making genuine, comfortable clothing that is easy to wear while still

looking refined. This year’s collection is versatile enough to handle the crisp, frosty mornings and unexpected

sunny afternoons. Durable enough for the field as well as the weekends. The colors and styles are inspired by long

drives through the painted Blue Ridge Parkway, morning walks at low tide, watching the birds fly on opening day,

or that Saturday tailgate with friends.

The Duck Head office is as unique as the Duck Head Brand. Located on S. Elm Street in downtown Greensboro, North Carolina, our building is over 100 years old.

The space has been restored and updated with repect to its history as a flour mill. It is an eclectic and inspiring homage to the past with recycled doors, reclaimed metal,

and exposed brick.

In December 2014, we officially opened the Duck Head Flagship Store in the Old Mill. Rather than a traditional retail environment, our Flagship has created a world of Duck

Head, paying homage to the 150 year history this iconic American brand has. It’s our vision come to life that takes you to a special place that you’ll never want to leave. Warm, worn and inviting like an old general store, it’s our opportunity to share this dream with the people of

AirstreamA 1966 Airstream represents a great time in

America. We couldn’t think of a better way to bring the Duck Head Brand to life. Restored with

the utmost care, our Airstream is an icon of authentic craftsmanship.

The inside features reclaimed barn wood and displays archival pieces from Duck Head’s history. The outside is hand-painted with the Duck Head

logo and the story about our founding brothers, the O’Bryan’s.

It’s a shining example of looking to the past for inspiration and is a beautiful piece of art that is

meaningful to us and we believe is still relevant today.

Over the past year, The Duck Head Airstream has traveled to some of our favorite places including

Boston, Tallahassee, Greenville, SC and Pinehurst, NC. The Airstream is meant to travel the open
