What are the services offered by MLB Shipping?

"MLB Shipping DMCEST" is a global shipping company under Lauterjung Group operating since 1979. We provide end to end services from ship management services , planning, building / purchasing of vessels as well as operating, hiring crew, coordinate with maintenance and repairs on behalf of the ship owner. We also provide support services such as legal, insurance and financial assignments. Our business unit MLB is the commercial employer and charterer of

What makes DMC standout is the diversity of it's facilities that cover A to Z marine industry needs.

The industrial precinct is primarily consisted of marine services including ship repair facilities, yacht manufacturing and repair, warehouses, workshops as well as supporting retail shops and showrooms.

Offices spaces of various sizes are available for clients to setup their business in DMC.

Workshops offer adequate

parking space for operators and their clients and easy access to their vessels. The Workshop are available in two sizes; small workshops of size 260 sq.m / 2800 sq.ft and large workshops of size 884 sq.m / 9515 sq.ft.

Warehouses of 510 sq.m / 5490 sq.ft are available to store spare parts and materials used for marine related business activities.

Showrooms in DMC are unique in the area since its the only space used to merchandise related solely to marine industry at the size of 84 sq.m with a dedicated parking area for

clients.

Shops, small retail spaces of size 64 sq.m / 694 sq.ft are available to offer a specified line of goods and services needed by the community.

Ship Repair Plots, are available in different sizes, strategically located within easy access to dry & wet birth, the ship lifts facilities and open sea access.

Yacht Manufacturing workshops area is 2522 sq.m / 27, 146.58 sq ft dedicated for repair & construction of yachts of all sizes.

How do you evaluate the company's journey since its establishment?

The company started 4 decades ago with our only office in Germany with the mission to provide high quality service to our business partners. This helped us to extend our market segment and clientele in Europe and beyond. Today we have 3 additional offices operate in Spain-Bilbao, in US-Houston and UAE-Dubai to cater the needs of our clients. We have recently started a semi-liner service project cargo between UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and Iraq. We are now a world wide project and heavy lift shipment covering more destinations.

We have today 42 ships covering our clients demand in Europe, US, Middle East and very soon in Asia. We could say that our business growth compared to other companies might have been "slow" but "stable". In spite of the economic crises that effected the shipping industry we continue to operate, receive inquir ies and business from our clients because of our team who is dedicated to provide better service delivery to our clients in all situations.

Our company's strength is our qualified and dedicated staff. We have always employed an established international pool of highly skilled mariners and technicians on board of our vessels. We conduct regular trainings for all our employees to ensure customer oriented services of the highest level at all times.

Initially we planned to operate out of JLT, after some research we realized that Dubai Maritime City is the perfect location for a marine business company base on its strategic location , access to open sea, close proximity to Port Rashid, Drydock, as well as the variety of the companies in DMC opened for us more opportunity for business.
