projects to upgrade old SLC500 controls to RSLogic and RSView in their steam generation

processes and upgraded some of their custody transfer stations existing equipment. Create and

maintain Instrument Specs in SmartPlant – InTools.

2006-2009 BREITBURN ENERGY, Orcutt, CA

Project Manager & Engineer (Contract) Responsible for designing, programming and

commissioned (did loop checks), revitalized oil field in that area. Utilized Allen-Bradley

Controllogix and RSView. Including working with new operators to develop HMI screens that

they wanted. Managed, commissioned and designed/programmed PLC based controls systems

for many type processes and equipment. Using Ladder logic and/function block languages.

Create and maintain Instrument Specs in SmartPlant – InTools. Programmed RSView &

FactoryTalk-PanelView. Perform loop checks & PID tuning, Set-up & programmed & tested

VFD's. Experienced with developing P&ID diagrams from existing PLC programs (Create control

petroleum field PLC/SCADA Automation [Designed & commissioned PLC based controls systems

for Oil/Gas extraction, separation & testing.

Project Manager (Contract). Responsible for improvements to anhydrous ammonia treatment of

their co-gen station exhausts. Contributed to creation of rapid deployment “portable baker

tank” and related equipment for quickly harvesting new wells, while permanent equipment was

being constructed. Utilized Allen Bradley electronics and HMI to control this portable system.

Other responsibilities included controls engineering for gas processes, treatment and fire safety
