INTRODUCTION
• Indonesia Government proclaimed Beef Self-Supporting program between 2005 to 2010
• Number of beef demand in 2009 reached 322,100 tons
• Increase in productivity of cattle in the country by utilizing various resources
• Continuous forage supply is needed to achieve optimal improvement

PROBLEM STATEMENT
• Landuse change is always occurring along the time
• It was interfere forage stock as the main food of livestock until 30%
• Reduced forage land cause a reduction in the amount of forage production to support increased cattle population

CONCLUSION
• AHP needs experts in livestock, animal, climate or practitioner in those fields
• AHP can give the answer about the best solution of species choosing for forage
• The best species to support livestock self supporting program in Tanah Laut region is Elephant grass
