INTRODUCTION

• Indonesia Government proclaimed Beef Self-Supporting program between 2005 to 2010

• Number of beef demand in 2009 reached 322,100 tons

• Increase in productivity of cattle in the country by utilizing various resources

• Continuous forage supply is needed to achieve optimal improvement

PROBLEM STATEMENT

• Landuse change is always occurring along the time

• It was interfere forage stock as the main food of livestock until 30%

• Reduced forage land cause a reduction in the amount of forage production to support increased cattle population

OBJECTIVE

• The objective of this research is to find out the best and alternative forages plantation in order to fulfill livestock feed needs

METHODOLOGY
