PSTN vs. GPRS/IPWhat technology should you go for?

Phone lines are NOT supervised

GPRS & IP Communicators are at a minimum rate of 10 seconds.

Phone communication is 20 - 30 secondsGPRS & IP are two seconds MAX!

Phone line is without encryptionGPRS & T-Link modules are

DSC GPRS or IP Modules will communicate directly to a monitoring Central StationNo Clearance house

DSC SIA DC 10 IP Protocol has been already implemented by ELK , Alarm.com

Sur-Gard receivers can receive thousands of simultaneous IP signals without drops.
