DRYLOK® 2300 Static Shielding/Moisture Barrier BagConstructionDRYLOK 2300 Static Shielding / Moisture Barrier Bags are constructed in five layers.
These layers consist of a static dissipative polyester outer layer followed by an
aluminum shield layer. In the middle is a second polyester layer followed by a second
aluminum shield layer. Lastly, the innermost layer is static dissipative polyethylene.
ConfigurationsDRYLOK 2300 Static Shielding / Moisture Barrier Bags are available in custom sizes or
in several industry standard sizes designed for reels, matrix trays and tubes. Bags
are offered in a 2-seal configuration with a bottom fold or a 3-seal configuration. Our
standard ADVANTEK hot-stamp or your company’s hot-stamped or flexographically
printed logo are available. The
DRYLOK2300 is easily vacuumed
and sealed by most vacuum sealing
equipment. A temperture range of
300°F to 400°F applied to both sides
of the material for up to 4.5 seconds
will yield a strong and consistent
seal. The durable 7.0 mil construction
of the DRYLOK 2300 will prevent
puncture and help ensure that vacuum
is maintained and the contents of the
bag are protected for up to 2 years.
The diagram at right details the typical
configuration of this product.
Shelf Life / Storage ConditionsIt is recommended that DRYLOK 2300 bags be used within 3 years of the date of
manufacture. ADVANTEK recommends storing this product in its original packaging
in a climate controlled environment where temperature ranges from 20° C +/- 16° C
(68° +/- 61°F) and relative humidity is 50% +/- 30%. Exceeding these recommended
storage conditions could result in inconsistent product performance.

The DRYLOK® 2300 Static Shielding / Moisture Barrier
Bag from ADVANTEK is a 7.0 mil thick metallized poly-
ester ESD static shielding / moisture barrier bag engi-
neered to protect contents from electro-static shock
and moisture. This bag, the thickest of ADVANTEK’s
DRYLOK 2000 series, meets the requirements set forth
in EIA 541, EIA 583 and MIL-PRF-81705D Type 1, Class 1.
The durable construction of this bag ensures the
protection of static and moisture sensitive devices
during transport and storage.
DRYLOK 2300 bags are available in several standard
sizes designed to contain matrix trays, tubes and
shipping reels. However, ADVANTEK’s state-of-the-art
equipment is capable of manufacturing a custom size
bag to fit the needs of nearly any project.
When used with Desiccant and Humidity Indicator
Cards, the DRYLOK 2300 Static Shielding / Moisture
Barrier Bag provides superior protection for static
and moisture sensitive devices.
