DRUMSTICK PLANTAIN BIRYANI – eknazar Ingredients Basmati rice 1 Cup Plantain 2 Numbers Drumstick 2 Numbers Shahi jeera 1 Teaspoons Star anise 1 Numbers Cardamom 3 Numbers Cinnamon (1 inch pieces) 3 Numbers Cloves 4 Numbers Maize 1/2 Teaspoons Bay leaves 2 Numbers Poppy seeds 2 Teaspoons Red chilli 5 Numbers Coriander seeds 1 Teaspoons Coconut pieces 1/4 Cup Oil 2 Tablespoons Salt Turmeric 1/4 Teaspoons Ginger garlic paste 1/2 Teaspoons Green chilli 5 Numbers Mint leaves 1/2 Bunch Coriander leaves 1/2 Bunch Yogurt 1/2 Cup Tomato (slices) 3 NumbersDirections 1. Shahi jeera, star anise, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, maize, bay leaves, poppy seeds, red chillies, coriander seeds dry roast all the ingredients in a slow flame. 2. After 2 to 3 minutes switch off the flame and add coconut pieces. 3. Let it cool down then make it into a paste. 4. Ingredients

Basmati rice 1 Cup Plantain 2 Numbers Drumstick 2 Numbers Shahi jeera 1 Teaspoons Star anise 1 Numbers Cardamom 3 Numbers Cinnamon (1 inch pieces) 3 Numbers Cloves 4 Numbers Maize 1/2 Teaspoons Bay leaves 2 Numbers Poppy seeds 2 Teaspoons Red chilli 5 Numbers Coriander seeds 1 Teaspoons Coconut pieces 1/4 Cup Oil 2 Tablespoons Salt Turmeric 1/4 Teaspoons Ginger garlic paste 1/2 Teaspoons Green chilli 5 Numbers Mint leaves 1/2 Bunch Coriander leaves 1/2 Bunch Yogurt 1/2 Cup Tomato (slices) 3 NumbersDirections

1. Shahi jeera, star anise, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, maize, bay leaves, poppy seeds, red chillies, coriander seeds dry roast all the ingredients in a slow flame. 2. After 2 to 3 minutes switch off the flame and add coconut pieces. 3. Let it cool down then make it into a paste. 4. Heat oil in a Biryani vessel and add plantain pieces, fry it for 2 minutes then keep aside. 5. In the same handi add chopped onions, salt, saute it till they get brown color. 6. Now add drumstick pieces, turmeric, ginger garlic paste, green chilli, mint leaves, coriander leaves, fried plantain pieces, yogurt, tomato slices and add prepared masala add some water mix it well and put the lid on and let it cook for 5 minutes. 7. In a hot water add oil, salt and soaked rice cook it for 90% done. 8. In a Biryani vessel add one layer of 80% cooked rice and add second and third layer 90% cooked rice, chopped coriander, ghee, lemon juice on top, put the lid on and let it cook for 10 minutes in a slow flame. 9. After 10 minutes switch off the flame and rest it for 5 more minutes. 10.
