The workshop aims to improve the research skills & aptitude of the researchers and academicians by enhancing their theoretical knowledge as well as by giving them hands-on training via learning modules in abundance.

This workshop is articulated primarily to develop the research & analytical skills among researchers with following objectives:1- To develop and understand on the fundamental system of

research process 2- To enable the participants to develop research

methodology in order to select suitable research design.

3- To infuse competencies for formulation and testing ofhypothesis based on the type of research.

4- Approaching aresearch problem and planning research. 5- To enable the participants to understand research paper

writing and writing research proposals.

Dr. Rammanohar Lohia Avadh University (formerly known as Avadh University), one of the premier Universities in Uttar Pradesh Province of India, was established on March 4, 1975. Its residential setup is decorated with 09 regular PG departments, 13 self -financed UG/PG departments, 03 Research Chairs and an Institute of Engineering & Technology. All of the five PG Science Departments namely Department of Physics & Electronics, Department of Mathematics & Statistics, Department of Biochemistry, Department of Microbiology and Department of Environmental Sciences have been accorded 'Centre of Excellence' by the State Government. The University at present is catering to about 7 lakh regular/private students through its residential wingand more than 600 affiliated colleges (spread over in the 8 adjacent districts)including 05 Medical Colleges, 04 Dental Colleges and 13 Nursing Colleges.

The city Ayodhya is situated on the bank of Holy river Saryu, about 127Km east of Lucknow, the capital of U.P. The city has religious and mythological importance and believed to be the birth place of Lord Rama. Ayodhya worldwide is known as one of the prime religious centers of Hindu pilgrimage. There exist over 1500 Hindu Temples, 05 Jain Temples, 04 Sikh Gurudwaras, many Muslim shrines and several folk monuments. The prime places of religious importance in Ayodhya are Hanuman Garhi, Saryu Ghat, Nageshwar Nath Temple, Kanak Bhawan, Rang Mahal Temple, Jhunki Ghat garden, Ayodhya Research Centre, International Ram Katha Museum whereas important tourist places are GulabBari, Bahu Begum Maqbara, Guptar Ghat, Bharat Kund, Cantonment Garden Memorial and Korean Queen Huh.

The twin city of Ayodhya-Ayodhya is well

connected with important cities of India by rail and

roads.National Highway NH-28 connects Lucknow (130

km west) and Gorakhpur (145 km east) with Ayodhya

whereas NH-96 connects Ayodhya with Allahabad (167

km south) and State Highway SH-27 connects Varanasi

(200 km south-east) to Ayodhya. Nearest airport to the

University is Lucknow-Airport which is 140 Km from the city.

Other nearer airports are Varanasi airport, about 190 km

away and Allahabad airport, about 180 km away
