• Locate a friend from your own friends who is from drought affected area.

• Through him, appoint a local volunteer & approach the families /villages affected by draught and identify problems. Pay some amount to Local Volunteer.

• Local volunteer will have mobile with camera & activated GPRS. He has to take picture of donated item or work in progress & upload it on FB or email it to U. U will get date, time, location detail.

• This will also enhance Ur friend image & give U real satisfaction & value for money.

• We can help u in finding a local volunteer.

Water Storage Tanks:

We will consider every village to a water storage capacity of 10,000 liters so that a tanker can be emptied in it.

• 5000 Lt at Chavadi/Main Source-• 2000 * 2 or 1000*5 at Wadi-Vasti-Mohalla. Its village responsibility to shift all water tanks to

ZP/Private schools in the month of August.e.g.: U can donate a 1000 lit Water Tank at Rs. 2900

(Double layer @ Rs.2.90/lit) + Taxe.g.: U can donate a 1000 lit Water Tank at Rs. 3900

Straightening of Nallas/Odhas

Village will measure total length of Nallas/Odhas running through the village. Will decide the width of the Nallla/Odha to be straighten. eg: 1000m of Nalla with width 2 mt.

With local excavation services decide the approx budget.

Check Dams/Bandhara

Nala bunding/ Cement/Sand/Check or similar kind of Bandhara

Villagers must commit themselves through village panchayat memorandum that if straightening of nallas/odhas done by the donor, they will, with villagers participation build suitable bandhara.

Donor can help in removing stored mud in Talav or important water source in the village. Also uneven surfaces can be removed from this resources to create more water storage capacity.

Sanitary Napkins to SPECIAL Girls

On World Women's Day, DROUGHT HELP GROUP has undertaken a long-term program of distributing Sanitary Napkins to Adolescence Girls in SPECIAL Schools.

As Water is not adequate in such schools, these girls faces various hygienic problems, which they cannot understand and cannot explain to their care takers.

Cost for sponsoring a special girl with 6months of sanitary napkins stocks delivered at school on monthly basis is Rs. 500
