Matt Shadeed—Arkansas State University

Matt Shadeed is currently in his second year as the Director of Strength & Conditioning at Arkansas

State University. Prior to ASU, Shadeed completed stints as a Strength & Conditioning Coach at LSU,

Nova Southeastern University, Southern Miss, and Ole Miss. Shadeed holds certifications from the

Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coaches Association, the National Academy of Sports Medicine,

United States Weightlifting, and Precision Nutrition. In 2011, the CSCCa honored Shadeed as a recipient

of the John Stucky Award - given to candidates who perform highly during the practical portion of the

certifying examination.

Dan John has spent his life with one foot in the world of lifting and throwing, and the other foot in academia. An All-American discus thrower, Dan has also competed at the highest levels of Olympic lifting, Highland Games and the Weight Pentathlon, an event in which he holds the American record.Dan spends his work life blending weekly workshops and lectures with full-time writing, and is also an online religious studies instructor for Columbia College of Missouri. As a Fulbright Scholar, he toured the Middle East exploring the foundations of religious education systems. His books, on weightlifting, include Intervention, Never Let Go, Mass Made Simple and Easy Strength, written with Pavel Tsatsouline as well as From Dad, To Grad. Recently, he and Josh Hillis co-authored "Fat Loss Happens on Monday."

Pat Moorer is in his second season as the head strength and conditioning coach for football at Texas. Moorer came to Texas after four years on Charlie Strong’s staff at the University of Louisville, where he helped the Cardinals post a 37-15 record, including 23-3 mark over the last two seasons. Last season, Moorer helped the Longhorns rally from a 3-5 start to reach a bowl game while training a team which had 10 players either selected in the 2015 NFL Draft or sign as free agents. A native of Pensacola, Fla., Moorer had an immediate impact on the Cardinals, helping a team that went 15-21 the three years prior to his arrival, including a 4-8 mark in 2009, to back-to-back 7-6 marks his first two seasons on staff. In 2012, Louisville went 11-2 with a Sugar Bowl win over Florida, Moorer’s alma mater, and in 2013 the Cardinals went 12-1 with a win over Miami (Fla.) in the Russell Athletic Bowl.

Lisa Mills is Co--‐Owner of Sprout Insight, a research and consulting company that offers research services to businesses and non--‐profit organizations. Dr. Mills is a veteran clinical psychologist and researcher who has over 20 years of clinical and research experience in behavioral and social health. Dr. Mills was an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. While at Children’s she conducted federally funded behavioral health research examining decision--‐making and behaviors of adolescent and college females.

Holly Frantz is in her sixth year as an assistant for the Lady Vol strength and conditioning staff. Frantz works with Softball,

Volleyball and Men's & Women's Swimming and Diving teams. The Grand Rapids, Ohio, native joined the Lady Vol staff after

working at Xavier University as a full-time assistant in the strength and conditioning program for four years. Prior to her time at

Xavier, she worked at the University Of Notre Dame as strength and conditioning paid intern. Frantz was a graduate assistant in

strength and conditioning at her alma mater, Bowling Green State University, where she received both her bachelor's degree in

sport management with a minor in marketing and her master's degree in education with an emphasis in sport administration.

While at BG, Frantz was a four-year letter winner and captain for the Falcons' softball team. Frantz is a NSCA Certified Strength

and Conditioning Specialist and is certified by the CSCCA as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach

Cal Dietz has been the Head Olympic Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of Minnesota since 2000. He has developed

the strength and conditioning programs for hockey, basketball, golf, swimming, track and field, and baseball. During his tenure, Dietz

has trained athletes who have achieved 500 All-American honors, 30 Big Ten/WCHA Championship teams, and 10 NCAA Team

Champions.

Dietz has consulted with Olympic and world champions in various sports. Also, during his time at the university, he helped found and

currently chairs the Sport Biomechanics Interest Group. Dietz has given numerous lectures around the country, published several

scientific articles on training, and co-authored the top selling book, Triphasic Training: A Systematic Approach to Elite Speed and Explosive

Strength Performance. Dietz earned his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from the University of Findlay in 1996 and his Master’s

degree from the University of Minnesota in Kinesiology in 2000.
