A week ater the res-

the greatest event in

all o human history,

the risen Lord ap-peared (the second time) to His disci-

touch His side, and “stop doubting and

believe” (Jn. 20:27). Then, two verses

later, He said, “Because you have seen

me, you have believed” (v.29).

Jesus, our greatest model o evange-

An excerpt rom an article by the U.S.

Department o Labor states that:

“Studies by educational researcherssuggest that approximately 83% ohuman learning occurs visually, andthe remaining 17% through the othersenses—11% through hearing, 3.5% through smell, 1% through taste, and

1.5% through touch.”

“The studies suggest that three days atan event, people retain 10% o what theheard rom an oral presentation, 35%rom a visual presentation, and 65% ro

road conditions are

terrible and the team

is aggressive in con-

COLOMBIAby Mike Jones

January 4-13 I traveled to Bogota to make repairs on

the Mobile Unit projector screen and serve with the

evangelism team or a week

o ministry in Ambalema,

a village our hours rom

Bogota over hazardous

mountain roads. Ambalema

is a town where roads rom

several other villages inter-

sect. There is no evangelical

church in these areas. The team conducted VBS every

morning or 150-200 children and showed a movie ev-

ery night in the city park. Many trusted Christ, and a

church will be planted soon.

NIGERIA (West Arica Theological Seminary)

God’s direction in their

lives and would appreciate prayer on their behal.

Like the other three, he is seeking

God’s direction in his lie as well, and would appreciate prayer as the

Lord leads him.

There are others planning to come

this summer and already plans are under way or a group

Ministry Re-ReleaseGeneral Fund

In the last FOCUS, I announced the creation of two special donor “clubs” to help fund the

general fund for 2013. The “25/50 club” asks for 25 people to give $50 a month for 12

months. The “2013 club” asks for 20 churches, business owners, or individuals to give a

one-time gift of $1300 sometime during this year.

Several have already responded in each club, giving the general fund a boost (Thank YOU!), however others are

still very much needed. Your help is vitally important for operating the ministry through the summer and fall. Please

prayerfully consider helping Drive-In Ministries this year!
