Assemble of drawstring bag

1. On one of the circles create 2 button holes on opposite sides of the circle set in from the edge of the fabric ¾ of an inch.

2. With right sides together sew almost all the way around the outer edge of the circle. Leave a small opening to turn the circle right side out.

3. Trim the sewn edge to ¼”4. Turn right side out5. Top Stitch around the entire edge of the circle as close to the edge as possible, to close the

opening left to turn the circle6. Make another circle of stitches below the button hole previously created. You now have a

casing for your drawstring

Create the Drawstring

1. Fold the long strip of fabric in half long ways or hot dog fold. 2. Sew along the long edge of the strip3. Trim the edge to ¼” from the stitches4. Turn the string right side out, best tool to use is a chop stick or a loop turner5. Repeat for other strip6. Use a safety pin, attached to one end of the string thread the string all the way around the bag7. Tie a knot in both ends of the string after you have threaded the string through the bag.8. Starting at the button hole opposite from where you previously started thread the string

through the casing in the bag.9. Once the string is threaded through the bag tie knots in both ends of the string.

Congratulations, you just created your very own drawstring bag!!!
