ANDE-ANDE LUMUT

Being in a country that gemah ripah jinawi, there is a handsome prince. The

prince is a prince who will inherit the throne, he wanted to andventure to looking for

himself and a beautuful girl who will get the kingdom position or his wife.

One day, the prince and his guard were looking for an animal in the forest.

But,he got nothing. The prince and his guard lost the way on the forest, Suddenly they

met a woman in front of them looked for the wood, she is mbok rondo dadapan

Ande-ande lumut : Excuse me mom

(Ande-ande lumut comes closer to mbok rondo, suddenly mbok rondo shocks to look the

prince)

Mbok rondo dadapan : Walahdalah .. who are you?

Ande-ande lumut : I’m wanderer mom, I’m sorry, I want to ask something,

what is the name of this village?

Mbok rondo dadapan : This is Dadapan village, boy. what are you doing here?

Ande-ande lumut : I want to wander mom, but I lost the way and I don’t

know the way

Mbok rondo dadapan : Don’t you want to be my son?

Ande-ande lumut : Really, mom?

Mbok rondo dadapan : Sure, boy. You can stay in my home then

(Ande-ande lumut with the guard and mbok rondo go to their home)

In the bright morning , mbok rondo klenting joked with her daughter.

Mbok rondo kleting’s daughter is so beautiful, she is Red kleting and her step sister her

name is Yellow kleting. Mbok rondo kleting loved her daughter too much but different

with yellow kleting, she always being served by her step mother to swept the floor,

cleaned the house and worked in the field. The fate of Yellow kleting was very anxious.

(Yellow kleting comes with bring the sweep, sweeps the floor and cleans the floor. Sits

in the corner room. Then mbok rondo comes to looking for yellow kleting and then red

kleting walks to mbok rondo)

Mbok rondo : My beautiful daughter ,come here girl ...

Red Klenting : Yes mom

Mbok rondo : I have a good news

Mbok rondo : Mbok rondo dadapan make a competition to looking for a wife

for her handsome son, his name is ande-ande lumut. You must join that

(A minute soon,yellow kleting was listening the conversation between mbok rondo and

red kleting, then she comes to mbok rondo)

Yellow kleting: Mbokk .. I want to talk something

Mbok rondo : What do you want to talk ? have you finished your work?

Yellow kleting: Yes .. mbok, mbok .. I want to propose to be ande-ande’s wife like my

other sister

not yellow kleting

(mbok rondo kleting loud of laugh in her house)

Then with sad face, Yellow kleting came to ande ande lumut’s house. Even if

she never be happy when she was in her house but she received patiently mbok rondo’s

saying & treatments. She never complained and always pray to God, she hopes she will

get the good replied.

Fortunately, on the way to Ande-ande’s house, she meets the fairy.

Fairy : hey ... beautiful girl ...

Yellow kleting: Who is that?

Fairy : Why do you look so sad?

Yellow kleting: Oh, nothing. Who are you?

Fairy    : Don’t be afraid, I’m the good character of yourself

Yellow kleting: What are you doing here?

Fairy : I know that you will go to Ande ande lumut’s house

In the famous river,there was yuyu kangkang who had authority of the river. Red

kleting wants to go to ande-ande lumut’s house, but she was very confused for passed

the river. She looked yuyu kangkang and asked to take her cross to the other side of the

river.

Red kleting : Yuyu kangkang .. yuyu kangkang ..

Yuyu kangkang : Hahaha .. what happen lady?

Red kleting : Yuyu kangkang, would you please help me to cross to the other

side of this river?

Yuyu kangkang : Yes .. but you must do something to me

Red kleting : What is that?

Yuyu kangkang : Please give me many pieces of gold

Red kleting : But I don’t have manu golds. Isn’t other?

(And then yellow kleting comes to the side of the river)

Yuyu kangkang : Hohoho .. what is that .. it’s not good smell and so ugly

Yellow kleting : Wah..inundation.How can I cross this river? He is yuyu

kangkang ... yuyu kangkang come here, help me please ..

Yuyu kangkang : Hahaha ... i don’t want .. because you are so ugly ..

Yellow kleting : You are wicked yuyu kangkang

(Yellow kleting show out her palm leaf rib)

Yellow kleting : Okay .. If that you want

Yuyu kangkang : What’s that?

Suddenly the river dry & yuyu kangkang go away.so that kleting kuning can

cross to the ande-ande lumut’s house.

In dadapan village,mbok rondo have been sweeping the floor,in the house there

is ande-ande lumut have been finishing read the Quran from mosque.

(mbok rondo sweeping the garden,sudently come beautiful girl, red kleting)

Red Kleting : Assalamualaikum

Mbok rondo dadapan : Waalaikumsalam .. who are you ??

Red kleting : I’m mom .. red kleting

Mbok rondo dadapan        : What happen beautiful girl?

Red Kleting : I want to propose to be ande-ande lumut’s wife

Mbok rondo dadapan : Oh, wait a minute. I will call ande-ande lumut

(calling ande-ande lumut)

yuyu kangkang’s beloved
