Dragon Runner
• Military robot built for urban combat
• Remote manually controlled
• Can be carried in a backpack and thrown to unreachable locations
• Very rugged
• Designed in CMU, developed in Automatika Inc.
• Was first used in Iraq at 2004
Technical Details
• 38cm long, less than 30cm wide
• Weighs 4.5kg
• Moves in 6.5km/h
• Max arm lift: 2.5kg

• Carries a microphone and night-vision front and rear cameras
• Can be thrown from a moving vehicle at 70 km/h• Or a third-story window
• Can operate on both sides (flipping doesn’t matter)
