1ST DRAFT (ADVERT)

This is my first draft of my advertisement. The two swirly lines at the bottom indicate the bottom strip that shall include information such as the actors/actresses and the productions do produced it. The two drawings demonstrates the angel and the devil. This means that the victim of the documentary is in heaven and the devil represents the murderer which ends up going to prison. This draft is too basic for me to create as my final ancillary task.

2nd DRAFT (ADVERT):

This is the second draft I drew of my advert. This includes some more conventions which are images, masthead, dates and bottom strip. I like where the masthead is so I shall keep it in the middle as it is readable. I would like the font of the masthead to be bigger than the rest of the text, this way it is then more noticeable. The two people at the front of the page are the parents of the victim, which symbolises sympathy. And the drawings above that drawing represent the memories of the victim.

DRAFT 3 (ADVERT):

This is the final draft of my advertisement for the documentary I created. This draws is very similar to the image I had taken when we were filming. Which will be the image I use on the actual advert. However the drawing didn’t go according to plan. Id like the masthead to be bigger as the audience will be able to see it. Also having the news paper reviews on the sides of the walls will be very complicated on Photoshop so I shall place them normally.

1ST DRAFT (DPS):

This is the first draft of my double page, which shows the main conventions. The layout is something I really like however, it looks too much like a magazine. There are images placed all over the placed which also looks like a magazine. The colour scheme shall be black and white. I would not like to use this layout for my double page spread.

2nd DRAFT (DPS):

This image is the second draft which clearly shows the conventions of a double page spread; images, text, masthead and cover lines. One convention missing is the page numbers, this is a convention that I will add onto the real double page spread. I don’t think I will be using this layout for my double page spread.

DRAFT 3 (DPS):

This is the final draft of my double page spread. I think I will be using the main image that indicates the character that the documentary is about with also the masthead on top of the image. The text shall be in two columns. I will use a similar layout to this for my final ancillary task.
