Simon Fraser University at Harbour Cen-tre is located in Vancouver's historic Spencer building, at the corner of Hast-ings and Richards streets in the city’s Heritage District.

Harbour Centre is directly across the street from Vancouver’s transportation hub, Waterfront Station, where Skytrain, Seabus, and Westcoast Express stations conduct visitors and commuters to all parts of metro Vancouver and beyond. The new Canada Line of Skytrain links Waterfront Station directly to the Vancou-ver International Airport. Public parking is available at many locations near the cam-pus as well.

Parking Public parking is available at many loca-tions near the Centre. Street parking is free after 8 pm. The closest parking lot is at 400 West Cordova Street.

Public Transit Major public transit lines, the SeaBus, SkyTrain and WestCoast Express termi-nate at Waterfront Station, located in the historic CP Rail Station on Cordova Street, opposite Simon Fraser University at Harbour Centre. The Centre is also within easy walking distance of all street buses with a terminus in downtown Van-couver.

The University of British Columbia Division of Continuing Professional Develop-ment (UBC CPD) is fully accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Canadian Medical Schools (CACMS) to provide study credits for continuing medical educa-tion for physicians. As well, the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Edu-cation of the United States (ACCME) maintains a reciprocity relationship with CACMS which the American Medical Association (AMA) recognizes for the pur-pose of allowing Canadian medical schools the ability to certify activities for AMA PRA Category 1 credits and to award such credits to eligible physicians. This pro-gram has been reviewed and approved by the UBC Division of Continuing Profes-sional Development. UBC CPD designates this educational program as meeting the accreditation criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada for up to 8.75 MAINPRO M1 credits. This program is an Accredited Group Learning Activity eligible for up to 8.75 Section 1 credits as defined by the Maintenance of Certifica-tion program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. This program also meets the accreditation criteria for a maximum of 8.75 Category 1 credits toward the American Medical Association Physician’s Recognition Award. Refunds and Cancellation Policy This course incurs significant non-refundable ex-penses prior to the course— please read and care-fully understand our cancellation policy before sub-mitting your registration: 1.Cancellation by individual registrant: Should you be required to cancel your registration you must do so immediately in writing by email to [email protected] or via fax at 604-875-5078 before the “Refund cut off date” of March 25, 2011. After you have successfully contacted our office with notice of your cancellation then return by mail your Income Tax Receipt. At this point your registration will be refunded less a $50 handling charge. Between March 25, 2011and the conference date, no refunds will be granted for withdrawal, unless a replacement can be secured by the registrant the $50 cancellation fee to the original registrant will still apply should a replacement be found.
