To promote EC technical assistance to the Transport Sector in the TRACECAregion

To stimulate awareness of the importance of addressing Road and LandTransport Sector Safety and Security

Specific objectives of the Conference:

To introduce the objectives, anticipated results and proposed activities of theEC TRACECA Land Transport Safety & Security Project

To discussproject progress and planning

To introduce two central project themes: the introduction of the Tachographand carrying out Road Safety Audits
