Welcome to the City of Canterbury Rhythmic Gymnastics Club for the MiniChamps 2012. We are delighted to see so many of you at our MiniChamps 2012., and wish to extend a warm welcome to all the gymnasts competing this weekend, especially to those of you who are here in Canterbury for the first time. This MiniChamps competition is for age U7 through to age U10 gymnasts to compete in a friendly environment, providing a great opportunity for gymnasts to gain competition experience prior to stepping out in National Competitions from age U11 onwards. For many of these gymnasts, this may be their first ever competition, so please give them lots of encouragement. We would be most grateful if you would kindly consider the following points, to assist in making this MiniChamps a successful event…

• Feel free to applaud any moves which you like and to clap along with the music where appropriate. • Remain in your seats while a gymnast is on the carpet. If you do need to leave the hall during the competition please do so between routines. • Ensure your mobile phone is switched off. • Do not use flash photography during the competition.
