Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani wins against Zambia Reports’ Hired Agencies

On July 28 2015, the High Court of Malawi passed a judgement in favour of the Chairman of Mahtani Group, Dr. Rajan Mahtani whereby he is entitled to receive a sum from the Nyasa Times as compensation for defamation.

Dr. Mahtani is free from any conspiracy in Malawi and will ensure that Finance Bank’s operation is not hindered in Malawi.

Sources suggest that Nyasa Times was approach by Zambia Reports to publish some defamatory news and defame Dr. Mahtani.

The lawyer for Dr. Rajan Mahtani, Clare Locke LLP have also filed a petition to GoDaddy in respect of the defamation campaign run by the website.

GoDaddy will soon consider the facts mentioned in the letter and may stop the hosting service of Zambia Reports.
