Dr. Lutfullah Saqib

Dr. Lutfullah Saqib has obtained his Ph.D in Islamic Law and Jurisprudence from International Islamic

University, Islamabad. He has completed his LL.M/Mphil (Islamic Commercial Law) and LLB (Hons)

from the same institution. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Law & Shariah) in the

Department of Law & Shariah, University of Swat, KP, Pakistan. Before joining the University of Swat,

he served Riphah International University as an Assistant Professor and remained a visiting faculty

member of more than 15 renowned universities of the country, including Muhammad Ali Jinnah

University, International Islamic University, FAST National University, Air University, Foundation

University, Fatima Jinnah Women University, Arid Agricultural University, SZABIST University, and

COMSATS Institute of Information Technology. He remained a member of the Punjab Bar Council,

Islamabad Bar Council, and served as an advocate of Islamabad High Court.

Dr. Lutfullah’s name has been included in the panel of Shariah Advisor NBFI and Modarabah

Association of Pakistan on the recommendation of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan.

He is a certified trainer of AlHuda Centre for Islamic Banking and Finance, and providing the same

services to SRSP (Sarhad Rural Support Program). He is also a Senior Content Developer and Reviewer

at National Testing Service -Pakistan (NTS).

Dr. Lutfullah Saqib is the author, co-author and chapter contributor of many books, including Financing

Agriculture through Islamic Commercial Transaction (Theory and Practice), Corporate Social

Responsibility and Sustainable Development, Islam Mai Tadress Ka Tareqa Kar, and Islamic Business

Law and Corporate Governance. He has published more than 16 research articles, majority of which are

related to the discipline of Islamic Banking and Finance in well reputed national and international

journals. In addition, he is also the reviewer of some of the reputed journals. Above all, he is also a Hafiz-

e-Quran.
