Mineralogical, chemical, and textural sediment analysis by means of light
microscopy, SEM, EDS, XRD, and electron microprobe.
Core description of the Pre-Khuff formations (Paleozoic) in Saudi Arabia.
Basin analysis with basic knowledge in seismic interpretation.
Computer skills-Zmap Plus, StratWorks, and Rock Ware applications.
Work in Unix Operating System, Microsoft windows: Excel, Word, and Power
point.
Field work with clastic and carbonate rocks in Saudi Arabia, Oman, France,
Sweden, Norway, and Spain.
Led many local geological field trips to Jawf area (Devonian successions), Qasim
area (Paleozoic successions), and Gulf of Aqaba (Red Sea geology).
Led international geological field trips as part of AAPG student chapter activities
to Denmark (Bornholm Island) and France (Boulonnais).
