Dear colleagues and friends,
I am pleased to announce that State Audit Institution of the United Arab Emirates (SAIUAE)
as the coming host and chair of the 8th session of the Conference of the State Parties to the
United Nation Convention against corruption (8thCoSP) will organize a side meeting 14-15
December, 2019 as the first ever global initiative to foster collaboration between Supreme
Audit Institutions (SAIs) and the Anti-corruption Authorities (ACAs) in fighting corruption in
collaboration with UNODC. This event can be considered as the first step in executing the
MOU between the INTOSAI and the UNODC signed in July 2019.
The main objective of this gathering is to establish a platform of cooperation between SAIs and
ACAs as well as other concerned parties in order to strengthening and consolidating efforts
that can contribute toward fighting against corruption.
Participation to the event is open to all SAIs and ACAs worldwide as well as other concerned
parties.
