faculty performance

Every Semester a written open-ended feedback

is taken from the students for each subject /

faculty and separate written feedback for

management facilities of the Institute. There is

also a suggestion box mechanism in place. A

written action plan is displayed on notice board

for each complaint / suggestion. The students

are also members of many committees for

different types of activities viz Sports,

Cultural, extra curricular, canteen, corporate

relations, students welfare, News letter etc.

Cultural Committee:

The Cultural Committee of DYPIMS adds bit of zing to monotonous life of students. It is

meant to make life more fun-filled, artistic and interesting. It provides the platform for

students to go beyond their academic quest and explore their creative and artistic sensibilities.

To promote development of overall personality of students and encourage as well as

appreciate latent artistic talents in students.

Our goal is to provide a vibrant community where people can come together to celebrate and

relax.

The cultural Committee shall be dedicated to creating and providing a forum for DYPIMS

Students to participate in cultural offerings.

An annual cultural event “Fusion” is organized in the month of February-March every year.

The cultural committee organizes two types of activities, i.e. Co-curricular and Extra

Curricular activities for the students at Intra Institutional and Inter Institutional level.

Co-curricular Activities:

The activities include business quiz, management games, case study competition, ad-mad

show, being wise with waste and Flash Mobs etc.

Extra – curricular Activities:

These include activities such as Group Dance, Solo Dance, Skit, Drama, fashion show,

rangoli.

The students are encouraged to participate in various events organized by the other

Management Institutes.




Alumni Association of Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Management

Studies:

Alumni Association of Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Management Studies was formed by the

Institute with prime motives to facilitate students’ movement towards developing better

personalities, building good liaison with industry and trade, enhancing entrepreneurial skills,

extend help to fellow students for placement etc. The Governing Body of Alumni Association

is headed by the Director as President of the Association with two faculty members as

Secretary and Treasurer and eight alumni students as members. The Governing Body meeting

of DYPIMS Alumni Association takes place twice a year and the General Body meeting takes

place once in a year. Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Management Studies has its Alumni

Association by the name “Alumni Association of Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Management

Studies” and it has been registered with Charity Commissioner, Pune.
