Our first trip after lockdown, ran by Yo-han Cha. 8 of our club members headeddown for a weekend of relaxing diving and sunshine. Although the vis was not great
thanks to a recent bloom, overall a lovely weekend was had by all.

What is your dive qualification?Master Scuba Diver
When and where did you learn to dive?I learnt to dive in 2010 with my daughter Sam. For her gap year she wanted top volunteer for marine conservation in Figi with GVI (Global Vision International), the minimum dive requirementwas open water so I said I'd do the OW course with her.
What is your favourite piece of dive equipment?I love my Suunto Helo 2
Name one place that is on your bucket list for diving-I need to get my abroad diving experience up so I would start with Eqyptfor now and eventually Truk Lagoon.
Describe a memorable dive:I have had so many and especially ones with my daughter! A particularlymemorable one was in Malta on the Rosie and also on the Rondo wreck inthe Sound of Mull. Both were incredible wreck dives.
What is your favourite dive advice?Always look after your scuba kit and it will look after you! After servicing somuch equipment, it really makes you see how important it is to take careof your equipment. Also if you ever don't feel comfortable enough to dive,it is okay to call it!
