HR Business Partners People Services Support Teams (PSSTeams)
Centre of Expertise (CoEs)
HR Business Partners lead people outcomes by:
• Assisting with the delivery of Strategic HR service and working directly with Senior Executives
• Championing the development of HR strategies to maximise productivity within the Groups / Services
• Acting as the principal conduit for senior level communication between DPG and Defence Groups / Services
• Advocating for the effective provision of required HR services from DPG for our clients
PSSTeams provide consistent People services support, advice, assistance and coordination to enable the effective management of Defence APS employees.
The PSSTeams complement CoEs, HR Business Partners, transaction centres such as payroll services, and existing delivery channels such as 1800Defence.
CoEs provide expert guidance and specialist advice, support and delivery on complex people issues or cases where they cannot be resolved otherwise.
CoEs support the development of national policy and process in line with the Defence strategic direction.

The PeopleConnect intranet site presents a clear and simple customer access channel via the Defence Restricted Network (DRN). It provides the first port of call for DPG Customers and the ability to access People service information. Access via: http://intranet.defence.gov.au/PeopleConnect
