Nock Deighton Agricultural LLP have been favoured by Downton Estates to conduct the eighth on-farm sale at The Brakes Farm, Downton on The Rock, Ludlow.

Dowton Estates are renowned for large numbers of quality Suffolk and Texel x North Country Mule lambs which are born from ewes on the Heptavac P system. All lambs are tailed and castrated, were vaccinated for Orf at birth, Ovivac P at 6-10 weeks, wormed at weaning together with Cobalt at weaning and clicked in Mid-May. All lambs EID tagged.

This year’s crop of ewe lambs will include approximately 900 sired by New Zealand Suffolk Rams which are known for their exceptional maternal instincts, reduced lameness, fewer dags and ‘wedge shape’ for trouble free lambing and improved conformation.
