Throughout World War One, propaganda posters were used to inform the masses of the war’s happenings. These posters also asked
people for help with the war. Four major types of propaganda posters from WWI were recruitment, asking for supplies, asking for the purchase of war bonds, and asking for help with the Red Cross.

soldiers. The posters asked for the people to save and donate food and goods.the
posters said how the supplies helped and showed
what it is like without the supplies. This was a sign
that the country was in total war, devoting all of its
