- What would I do in case of a disaster?

- Am I able to protect my family?

- What are my immediate needs?

- Do I have what I need to survive?

If you are a business owner, a CEO, an organization Director or any type of a manager, you must have a disaster plan to protect your clients, your staff and your members.

Make sure you have a disaster plan that addresses everyones needs.

Make sure everyone is familiar with the disaster plan.

Make sure you take the appropriate steps to educate yourself and your family on what you need to do and what you need to have, in order to protectyourself and your family when disaster hits.

These organizations are able to provide much needed help to the community, such as shelter, food, water, clothing, counseling, as well as financial help.

Some organization also help with rescue operations.

Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) is a coalition of organizations that work together and shares resources and knowledge to ensure effective disaster response and recovery through Cooperation, Communication, Coordination, and Collaboration.

12. What does VOAD do? Members of VOAD provide a variety of services, which address the four phases of disaster. 13. Our Mission

The mission of CTXVOAD is to form a partnership between various organizations, government agencies, law enforcement and the community, in order to provide an efficient, streamlined delivery of resources to people and communities that are affected by a disaster.

Our goal is to combine our resources in effort to reduce duplication of services and maximize resources available to those affected by a disaster.
