V. KESIMPULAN DAN ANALISAKESIMPULAN

SKF(Svenska Kullagerfabriken) yang berdiri sejak 16 Februari 1907, bukanlah suatu kebetulan bila seorang insinyur asal Swedia, Sven Wingguist, penemu ”self-aligning ball bearing” , sekaligus pendiri SKF, menyadari bahwa penemuannya bisa memberikan solusi untuk masalah-masalah di dunia.

Berkat kepiawaiannya dalam membuat komponen dengan toleransi keakuratan yang tinggi, produsen bearing asal Swedia kini dipercaya menangani pembuatan automatic ’throttle control unit. Setelah penemuan komponen tersebut, perusahaan ini terus berkembang dari hanya menyuplai kebutuhan lokal Swedia hingga ke berbagai belahan dunia. Di Indonesia SKF sudah ada sejak tahun 1919.
