The first Olympics

The first Olympics were held in Greece after the Trojan war.

That was about 3000 years ago.

And only the men were allowed. They had a lot of games

Like a horse race, running, throwing and wrestling.

It took place in Olympia.

Story

A women called Athena went to Olympia. But women weren’t allowed but the soldiers took her from the Olympics. (They used to harm women who went to Olympia) but they didn’t harm her because Athena was the daughter of the famous boxer.
