TheCountdownBeginsFellowleftiesandinvitedguests,yourNationalChampionshipsOrganisingCommitteeisnowwellintothebusinessendofplanningforthe52ndNationalLeft-handedgolfchampionships.Commitmentshavebeenmadeforthe2championshipcourses,thevenuesforthewelcomefunctionandpresentationdinners.Thecommitteehasalsointroducedanumberofinnovativearrangementsdesignedtomaketherunningofthetournamentassmoothandefficientaspossibleandhopefullyresultinamemorableexperienceforall.Someofthemeasurestobeimplementedinclude:

• Regularupdatesonthestatusofplanningandarrangementsforthetournament(senttoallNALGAmembersandinternationalregistrants);

• Issueofreceiptsofregistrationsviaemailconfirmingallitemsselectedforthetournamentonreceiptofpayment;

• RecordingresultsusingthehostclubscorescanningfacilitiesandprocessingthesethroughACTDivision’sdatabasesystem(scoreswillonlybesenttogolflinkattheendofthetournament);

• Presentationsofdailyresultsatthecompletionofeachshotgunstartroundatthecourseplayedtoenableparticipantstheopportunitytoenjoythefacilitiesofthehostclubandtheawardofprizes;

• Apre-setcutoffscorefortheball-run–eliminatingtheproblemofsortingoutanddistributingtheballwinners(issuedwhenyouhandinyourcard)

• TheoptiontoplayintheACTDivision’sChampionships,whichwillbeplayedjointlywithround1oftheNationalChampionships

Alsoatthisstageselectionshavebeenmadeforthemake(SporteLeisure),fabric,style(SportecDuke)andcolourofthechampionshipsportshirts(whiteforplayersandgreyforcommittee)andmajoritemsintheregistrationbag.And,asafinalpoint,somechangestothearrangementsforregistrationforthetournament.

• TheregistrationformhandedoutinthepackageatRoyalPineslastyearstatedthatthewelcomefunctionincluded“drinksandfingerfood”thisshouldhavestated“Buffet”.Theinferencebeingabuffetmealwillbeprovided,butdrinksmustbepurchased.

• Ifyoucanonlypostahardcopyoftheregistrationform,itshouldbesentto(alternateaddresstobeinserted)nottheaddressnotedontheform

• Thefollowingcancellationpolicywillapplyintheeventthatapersonwhohasregisteredforthe52ndNationalLeft-handedGolfChampionshipslodgesarequesttowithdrawfromtheevent:1. Upto4weeksnotice–afullrefundofthepaymentwillbemade; 2. Subjecttoapprovaloftheorganisingcommittee,apartial(pro-rata)refundofthebalanceof
